Simple, heartfelt cards for life’s big moments and little ones. Kartotek Copenhagen is a Danish stationery studio founded by Julie, a designer who started the brand in 2016 to bring her love of thoughtful design to everyday life. Each card begins as a hand-painted gouache illustration, so every design has a soft, artful charm: a cozy cup of tea, a pair of lovebirds, a celebratory cat, a sprig of fern. Each one carries a short, sweet message like “you’re so sweet,” “made for each other,” or “let’s pawty.” The cards are printed in Denmark on high-quality Swedish paper from one of the world’s most sustainable paper mills, and each comes with a natural kraft envelope. They’re blank inside, leaving room for your own message. Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding, a new home, a thank-you, or a just-because note, there’s a Kartotek card to match. They’re also lovely tucked into a gift from the shop.
