Soft, silvery, and quietly calming. This photograph from Barloga Studios captures a sprig of eucalyptus in delicate detail, with its rounded leaves layered along a graceful stem in soothing shades of sage and soft blue-green. It’s printed with archival inks on English watercolor paper, whose gently textured surface gives the image a muted, painterly feel, like a botanical study from a vintage field guide. Eucalyptus is a familiar sight along the California coast, and this print brings its fresh, peaceful spirit indoors. Barloga Studios is a Northern California family business, with three generations of photographers dedicated to printing on beautiful, handcrafted papers. Each print is signed and named by hand. It’s lovely in a bathroom, bedroom, or entryway, or on a gallery wall of botanical prints, and it makes a thoughtful gift for a plant lover or anyone who wants a little more calm at home.
