A small wonder of the garden, captured up close. This photograph from Barloga Studios shows a bumblebee in beautiful detail, from its fuzzy, golden-striped body to its delicate, translucent wings. It’s printed with archival inks on English watercolor paper, whose softly textured surface gives the image a gentle, painterly quality, like a page from a vintage natural history book. Barloga Studios is a Northern California family business, with three generations of photographers dedicated to printing on beautiful, handcrafted papers. Each print is signed and named by hand. It adds a cheerful, natural touch to a kitchen, a garden room, a child’s bedroom, or a gallery wall of botanical prints, and it’s a sweet gift for a gardener, a beekeeper, or anyone who loves the buzz of a summer garden. Pair it with Blooming Poppies #2 for a garden-inspired set.
